African Experience

27 mei 2016 - Kampala, Oeganda

Dear everybody,

First of all my excuses for not my writing my blog for 2 months, shame on me.. But with this update I want to make it up with all of you!

We are about to start the last month in Uganda, by the end of June Watoto 360 is finished and 11 of July I'm coming back to the Netherlands.

The last 2 months went so fast every time I was planning to write my blog but it was such a busy period.

After Easter we had a production in Watoto church called 'Heavens gates and Hells flames' once in 4 years they show this production to the people in whole Kampala. 7 days and 29 shows later many people came to visit this production where we served as 360 class. In total more than 36.500 people attended the shows and 7933 of them gave their life to Jesus that week! Awesome!

2 weeks later on Sunday it was baptism-Sunday and I was in my home district Watoto Church West. Because of the Heavens gates shows many people registered for baptism. Pastor Peter asked me to help him with baptizing the 150+ people. And I thank God for that opportunity because it was always a dream of me to be part of baptizing people!

Another 2 weeks later my mom landed in Entebbe, Uganda. She came for a week to visit me and to see what we are doing here. That week I left my home in Ssuubi and stayed with my mom in a guesthouse in Kampala. The program was full of fun things to do, she served at the baby's homes in Ssuubi. She met her sponsorchild; George. But the biggest experience was when she came with our class when we went for ministry into the slums. We did some groceries for the family we visit and prayed with them. I think she was so impressed by the size of the house and the bad conditions these people live in. I can say this was a life-changing experience for my mom.

I'm praying about my future after this school, and God is speaking into my life through this 6 months that He is not done with me in Uganda after this Watoto 360 course..

Thank you for all the prayers and special thanks to my mom and dad who help me financially.

Love,
Casper (Mulangira)
