Dear everybody!
Wasuze otya?
Gyebaleko!
Ndi mussanyufu okubeera wano!
Ndowooza oli bulungi?
I think I'll continue in English before only the Ugandans are left to read my blog. I want that you all know that I feel so good in Uganda, everything is fine and this place feels like home. I enjoy every seconds of my time here!
It's already two weeks ago that I wrote my blog, in the meantime we are moved to the Watoto Children's village Suubi. It's a place outside the big city Kampala on a one hour drive distance. It's beautiful here, we are in the hills and surrounded by more hills. At night when I stand in my backyard I can see the lights of the greenhouses on a another hill what me reminds to 'Westland'
I hope when I upload this blog that it will work because the Internet connection is very bad on this hill.
Last week we went out with our cell-group for a ministry, and we went to a place that calls; Retrak Kibuli it is a wonderful place. There were 21 boys from the age 6-17 years who lived on the streets before they were saved by Retrak. They love to see visitors and they started singing for us, it was such a warm welcome. After praise and worship a girl from our cell-group shared a scripture from the Bible, while she was preaching God spoke to my heart to pray after she was done. He wanted me to pray a prayer that the boys could get a chance to accept Jesus in their lives. For me it was the first time that I did something like that for a group of boys, and also in English.. When she was done with preaching it was my turn to pray. I started to encourage the boys and told them the help Jesus can give them if they choose to accept Him. When I started praying all eyes were closed and I ask who wants to follow Jesus and make Him as a personal guide in their lives. 5 hands went up in the sky, I started a prayer and all the boys were repeating that prayer. Wow what a great moment was that, God is good!
There are so many things going on here I can't write them all down because then I need a another 6 months. There is something I need your help with; next Thursday there will be elections in Uganda for a new president. It's a big thing here in Kampala everywhere you see campaigns going on. A lot of people want a new president but it's not so sure that it will happen, so I ask you all to pray for peace in Kampala. That the elections will be peaceful and that the best may win.
Thanks for all the encouraging messages, I love it!
God bless you,
Casper Mulangira (prince)

Its hot, have fun, yo!
